Organization of your Legal Documents is Key to Winning your Case
I have had a lot of clients who are representing themselves in court because they cannot afford to hire an attorney. The California Court System estimated that 80% of family law cases are handled by self-represented litigants. When you are handling your own case you need to be organized and all of your documents need to be organized so that you can easily find what you are looking for. For example a family law case may have the following sections: Pleadings, Correpondence, Financial Documents, Discovery, Medical/School Records, Mediation Reports etc. In addition to sections, you should have all documents in chronological order.
Diablo LDA assists our clients with the organization of their files during the case process or before Trial. Reach out to us if you need assistance getting your case organized and prepped so that you are ready in court.
