Notary Public Services

In addition to our legal document practice we do provide mobile notary services to local areas: Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Lafayette, Clayton, Pittsburg and Antioch.

We offer the following notary services:

Acknowledgment: Acknowledgments certify that a signer personally appeared before the Notary, was identified by the Notary and acknowledged signing of the document.

Jurat: These are found in affidavits and other sworn documents, certifying that the signer personally appeared for the Notary, was identified by the Notary, signed in the Notary's presence and took an oath or affirmation from the Notary.

Certify Copy of Power of Attorney: Certifies that a copy of a power of attorney is identical to the original.

In order to perform notarial acts proper identification must be presented at the time of notary. Please see the list below for acceptable identification:

California driver's license or non-driver's ID issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles

US Passport book
-
California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation identification card for an inmate in custody in an institution in the state of California correctional system

Any form of ID issued by a sheriff's department for a prisoner in custody in a county jail or local detention facility

The following may be sufficient if they are current or have been issued in the past five years and contain a photograph, signature, serial or identifying number and physical description of bearer:

Foreign passport

Driver's license or non-driver's ID issued by another US state

Driver's license issued by Mexico or Canada

Employee ID card issued by an agency or office of the State of California or any city, county or city within the state

US military ID that contains all required elements (CAC not acceptable)

ID card issued by a federally recognized tribal government

Consular ID card
